North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homeopathy, NEIAH, Shillong has arranged 1st Sanskrit Week celebration from 19/08/2021 to 25/08/2021 at NEIAH, Shillong. 

Lecture on Sensitization on Sanskrit, Shloka Recitation Competition, Sanskrit pamphlet distribution were done for the students of NEIAH, on 25/08/2021.

 

Report on AYUSH WEEK celebration during observance of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from 30 August 2021 to 5 September 2021

            The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homeopathy (NEAIH), Shillong, an Autonomous Institute under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, had celebrated the AYUSH WEEK at the Institute from 30 August 2021 to 5 September 2021, where the different kind of programs were arranged to sensitize and spread the awareness about AYUSH System of Medicine along with Distribution of AYUSH prophylactic medicines and diet and lifestyle guidelines for promoting immunity during COVID-19.

North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda And Homeopathy, NEIAH, Shillong has arranged the the inauguration ceremony for the event "Distribution of AYUSH prophylactic medicines and Guidelines on Diet & Lifestyle with special focus on geriatric population" on 02-09-2021 at Ayurveda & Homeopathy Hospital, NEIAH, Shillong at 3.00 pm. 

The event was conducted in Hybrid mode i.e. main event (physical) at CCCBS Complex, Janakpuri, New Delhi and the live telecast simultaneously by NEIAH, Shillong under the Ministry of AYUSH across the Country.

The Institute also arranged the community outreach program of "Distribution of AYUSH prophylactic medicines and Guidelines on Diet & Lifestyle with special focus on geriatric population" on 03-09-2021 at Seijiong Village, East Khasi Hills. On this social awareness campaign the doctors and along with students have emphasized about the inculcating the importance of AYUSH system of medicines among the masses to achieve the objective of National Health Policy to provide 'Health for All'.

            The distribution of Ayush Kwath, Sanshamani Vati and Anutail Nasya from Ayurveda Hospital and distribution of Arsenic Album 30 C tablets from Homeopathy Hospital were done to the needful people of Shillong from 30 August 2021 to 5 September 2021 at NEIAH, Shillong and at Seijiong Village on 03-09-2021.

            The Institute conducted the online AYUSH awareness lecture series for the students of the different school in Shillong. The lecture on awareness about Ayurveda System of Medicine was delivered by Dr Pradip Mohurle, Lecturer (Ayu), NEIAH, Shillong and on awareness about Homeopathy System of Medicine was delivered by Dr Akhil B. G., Lecturer (Hom), NEIAH, Shillong on 31-08-2021, 01-09-2021 & 03-09-2021.

North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homeopathy, NEIAH, Shillong has arranged the Poshan Maah Celebration from 01/09/2021 to 30/09/2021, at Hospital NEIAH, Shillong

The Activities done under this includes Plantation of Saplings of Medicinal Plants, Health Awareness Camp, Health Awareness Camp and Distribution of Regional Nutrition Kit to 240 Undernourished children at at Seijiong, Mawkasiang, Tynring and Diengiong during 01/09/2021 to 30/09/2021

Report on Ayush Awareness cum Health camp at Seijong Village, East Khasi Hills underAzadiKaAmritMahotsavon 13 January 2022.

            The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homeopathy (NEAIH), Shillong, an Autonomous Institute under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, had organized Ayush Awareness cum Health camp at Seijong Village, East Khasi Hills under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 13 January 2022.

The Institute also arranged the community outreach program of "Distribution of AYUSH prophylactic medicines and Guidelines on Diet & Lifestyle with special focus on geriatric population" on 13 January 2022 at Seijiong Village, East Khasi Hills. On this social awareness campaign the doctors and along with students have emphasized about the inculcating the importance of AYUSH system of medicines among the masses to achieve the objective of National Health Policy to provide 'Health for All' & “ Hamara Ayush Hamara Swasthya”.

            The distribution of AyushKwath, SanshamaniVati and Anutail Nasya from Ayurveda Hospital and distribution of Arsenic Album 30 C tablets from Homeopathy Hospital were done to the needful people of Shillong on 13 January 2022 at Seijiong Village.

            The Institute conducted the AYUSH and Yoga awareness lecture series for the people and students of the different school in Seijiong. Along with the awareness campaign the interns of the institute had demonstrated the Suryanamaskar to the peoples of Seijiong village.

The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy (NEIAH) celebrated the International Youth Day on 12 August 2022 at NEIAH, Shillong. The NSS Unit of NEIAH organized the Sensitization lecture for volunteers of NSS on Intergenerational Solidarity on the occasion.
