Case summary
A fat and dark complexioned female (Regd No: 792632) aged 36 years visited on NIH OPD on 09/07/21 with the following complaints:
Itching eruptions on the tip of the fingers of both the hands; itching all the time, burning sensation and pain after the itching associated with sticky watery discharge, < from contact with soap water > bleeding and discharge, And there was Indigestion, flatulence associated with headache which was <at morning, and from eating oily rich foods. Every complaint started during pregnancy and after childbirth(18 years ago)
Patient had a H/O chicken pox at childhood, delayed menarche, hyperemesis gravidarum 18 years ago and suffered from Tinea Corporis just a year ago, having a H/O ointment application.
Patient having a family history of Diabetes Mellitus.
In Generalities, patient was hot, who couldn’t tolerate hunger, was having a good thirst for 2-3 litres / day, with desire for vegetables, spicy foods, warm food and aversions to sweet, meat with intolerance to eggs which caused allergy, smoke caused skin allergy, oily rich foods caused indigestion. Bowel and bladder movements were normal. There was profuse perspiration on the whole body especially on the scalp, slightly offensive. Patient was of mild nature, with a desire for company

H/O delayed menarche
Aversion to sweets, meat
Desire for vegetables
Itching Eruptions on the tips of fingers > discharges
Sticky discharge
H/O ointment application
After consulting with Materia Medica, the Totality Of Symptoms indicated Graphites. On 09/07/21, Graphites 30/ 2 doses in sac lac was given for two consecutive days, to be taken on empty stomach in early morning followed by Rubrum for 30 days.
