The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is the most significant cleanliness launched on 2nd October 2014 to honour Mahatama Gandhi’s vision of a clean country. The emphasis will be more on the aim and mission of cleanliness and waste management. Its necessities the proper measures and strategies for continuous cleanliness drive across the country.
Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), an autonomous organization under Ministry of Ayush, conducted a lecture aiming Personal hygiene for school children under “ Swachhta Pakhwada 2022” on 24 rd May,2022 at Sarvodaya Kendra Vidyalaya, Punjabi Bagh and SDMC Primary School, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi. The campaign included a lecture on Oral and personal hygiene followed by interaction with the school children to make them understand more about cleanliness and its benefits to prevent diseases. The 521 hygiene kits along with refreshment were distributed post interaction. The hygiene kits comprised of toothpaste, toothbrush and a soap.
