Journal of Ayurveda Case Reports (AyuCaRe) is a Quarterly Journal of All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi. It invites Case Reports from clinical specialties and provides opportunities for students, researchers and faculty of Ayurveda and allied medical sciences to be part of it. This initiative is expected to play a pivotal role in researches, further generating evidence bases for the claims and principles of Ayurveda and allied sciences in a systemic way. Here different areas of healthcare through Ayurveda may be brought together that will help practitioners, students, academicians, researchers and others in developing more holistic ways of Ayurveda approaches.
Ayurveda practice is challenging. Many physicians come across with certain clinical situations that have not mentioned in textbooks and presented in an unusual way. On the other hand, physicians may also have success stories for certain conditions, where no satisfactory answers are available in contemporary field. Dissemination of such success practices is a way of sharing knowledge that will help in shaping the health care system, what we see today.
Case Reports help practitioners to share their experiences with peers, researchers, students and other interested. Ayurveda needs more and more evidence based success stories. AyuCaRe Journal is focusing on this aspect and attempting to create a unique platform for all stakeholders of Ayurveda to share their experiences.
Despite of larger investments in Ayurveda researches and a huge number of Ayurveda PG / PhD Scholars coming-out every year; they failed to publish the outcome because of many reasons. Lack of good journals that encourage Ayurveda research publications may be one of the reasons. There are only a few journals in the field of Ayurveda that are indexed with PubMed that understand and encourage Ayurveda concepts and researches. Considering the scenario and need of publishing new journals and to create encouraging atmosphere for aspiring young researchers of Ayurveda; All India Institute of Ayurveda, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi has started a new Journal “Journal of Ayurveda Case Reports” (AyuCaRe), a Quarterly Journal of All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi.
The journal (ISSN 2667-0593 / e-ISSN 2667-0607) can be accessed through ayucare.org and online management system is available at https://review.jow.medknow.com/JACR.
