Event – “80 Days to Go” for IDY- 2022 " at NIH,Kolkata

The countdown Event – “80 Days to Go” for IDY- 2022 was organized by National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, in Collaboration with MDNIY, New Delhi, on the 2nd of April, 2022 under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Faculties, Staff,Students and family members of NIH participated in this Grand Event. (Total participation- 200).

Director NIH Dr. Subhas Singh Started the program with his welcome speech and PPT about NIH.

The programme schedule was as follows:

Event-1

Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) demonstration by Dr. Avijit Shee Burman HoD Dept. of FMT,Dr. Lalith Singh, Dy.M.S. and Dr. Afsar Ali, Asst. Prof., Dept. of Organon of Medicine and participation by all Faculties, Staff, and Students in the Football Ground of N.I.H. main campus from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Event -2

Demonstration of CYP and its benefits among the patients in O.P.D. area of NIH from 11 a.m. to 12 noon done by Shri Raja Bhattacharya, Physiotherapist and Shri Pushkar Singh Jat Nursing Super.

Event -3

Seminar on Yoga – Venue-Seminar Hall, Academic Building of NIH ,3 p.m onwards 

Dr. Ishwar V. Basavaraddi, Director MDNIY, New Delhi Inaugurated the seminar

Shri Mukul Kanitkar Ji took session on “ Pran Vidya- Karo Yog Raho Nirog” and Director NIH Dr Subhas singh taken session on “Azadi ke 75 Saal aur Ayush Chikitsa Vyavastha”, Shri Shankaranand BR ji told about importance of Yoga in Education System.

Dr Rajesh ji told about the importance of Research in Education. 

Dr Shishir Singh, Chairman, AKAM Committee was compering the Program. The whole program was organised by AKAM Committee of NIH comprised by Dr Shishir Singh, Dr Pratima Pal, Dr Jitendra Kumar, Shri Pushkar Singh Jat, Smt Mitul Chatterjee.

All Faculties, Staff and Students attended the programme to make it Grand Success.
