Dr. Munawwar Husain Kazmi, Former Director, NRIUMSD, Hyderabad, CCRUM, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India joined as Academic Chair in Unani Medicine at Hamdard University Bangladesh.
Prof. Abul Khair, Vice-Chancellor, Hamdard University, Bangladesh introduced Dr. Munawwar Hussain Kazmi to Registrar of the University Dr. Md. Moazzam Hossain, Head of the Unani Medicine and Surgery Dr Khairul Alam, Head of Department Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, Dean Faculty of Science and Technology Dr. Meer Mohammad Azad and other faculty members and officers of the University.
Prof. Khan, DG CCRUM informed that CCRUM, Ministry of Ayush and Hamdard University, Bangladesh has signed an MoU to establish the academic Chair. He informed that the purpose of the Chair is to propagate and promote Unani medicine in Bangladesh through set of activities identified in the signed MoU.
