• Patient was made to lied in prone position
• Painting and draping is done
• Local anesthesia with xylocaine 2% was infiltrated and after attaining anesthetic affect.
• An elliptical incision was given.
• Skin and subcutaneous tissue was separated and after notification of sac, the sac wall separated followed by complete excision.
• After attaining hemostasis.
• The closure of wound was done by 5 mattress sutures with 2.0 silk followed by antiseptic dressing.
• Then the patient shifted to post-operative ward in good and sterile condition.

The patient was suffering from granthi roga.
