A CASE OF WARTS

A patient aged 58 years came with the complaint of multiple, hard, horny warts over multiple parts of the body since 5-7 years. There were no accompanying symptoms. But after the detailed case taking the following symptoms are perceived and observed.

• Hot patient.
• Intolerance to Sun.
• White coated tongue.
• Horny hard warts.
• Desire for Sour Food.

BASIS OF PRESCRIPTION:

Since the warts are one – sided disease and minimal symptoms are always met with. In such case the responsibility will be on the part of physician to derive the characteristic symptoms on which we can be guided to the similimum. Hence ANTIMONIUM CRUDUM 200/ 1 Dose; Followed by Placebo was prescribed, after consulting Materia Medica.

FOLLOW UP (VISIT 1):

After 3 months patient returned with much reduction in his complaints and again the repetition of the same dose, i.e; ANTIMONIUM CRUDUM 200/ 1 Dose; Followed by Placebo for another 3 months. 

FOLLOW UP (VISIT 2):

After 3 months, the patient returned with much relief and complete disappearance of the warts.
