Testing negative from Covid-19 is one thing and gaining lasting immunity is another. The Health Ministry shared useful guidelines for faster and full recovery of Covid-19 patients. Moderate exercise and regular warm water along with immunity boosting medicines prescribed by AYUSH Ministry are the keys to stay preventive against this worldwide pandemic.

Covid-19 recovered patients reported to have body ache, sore throat, fatigue, and difficulty in breathing. The Ministry released a set of guidelines to follow. Warm water, AYUSH-prescribed medicines such as AYUSH Kwath, Chyawanprash, and Mulethi Powder can prove to be useful in speedy recovery of the patients.

The Ministry of AYUSH added that it is helpful to take 1 teaspoonful of Chyawanprash with milk or lukewarm water in the morning under the supervision of an Ayurveda Physician. Chyawanprash is a magical healer during the post-recovery stage.

Follow post-COVID protocol guidelines released by the Ministry of Health:

  • Maintain physical distancing, respiratory and hand hygiene.
  • Continue to wear a mask.
  • Drink plenty of warm water.
  • Take immunity boosting medicine prescribed by AYUSH Ministry.
  • Take part in household chores, if health allows. You can begin office work in a graded way.
  • Opt for moderate exercise such as meditation, pranayama, and yoga.
  • Take proper sleep and rest. Go for morning and evening walks daily, and prefer an intake of balanced and nutritious diet.
  • Stay away from alcohol and smoking.
  • Keep a tab on health at home by measuring blood pressure, blood sugar, and temperature.
  • Never ignore warning signs such as unexplained chest pain, focal weakness, high fever, state of confusion, and breathlessness.

Remember staying home is an old school, staying at distance, wearing a mask, and cleanliness are the new theories to embrace.
