A CASE OF POLYCYSTIC OVARIAN SYNDROME
TREATED WITH MEDORRHINUM

A female patient, aged 29 years, came on 31st January 2022, with complaints of:
USG done on 11th June 2019 showed bilateral polycystic morphology of ovaries with slightly increased volume.
The symptoms, along with USG, establishes a case of PCOS (as per Rotterdam’s criteria of 2003).
The patient already went for both allopathic and homoeopathic treatment 2 years ago with no apparent relief.
The patient was prescribed MEDORRHINUM 1M, 2 doses based on the presenting complaints (i.e., irregular scanty menstrual flow, and remaining symptoms along with the marked mental symptom of weeping disposition, as totality of symptoms) in sugar of milk followed by placebo for 1 month, in her visit.
The patient visited for follow up on 3rd March 2022, with relief in the recent symptoms of burning pudenda and bloody discharge per urethra. The chronic menstrual trouble and urinary trouble were still persisting.
The USG done on 2nd March 2022 revealed normal study of both ovaries.
