A case of Aphthous Ulcer treated by Homoeopathic medicine

• Patient details:

A female Patient (Regd no.720856) Aged 25 year, Hindu from Gaighata , 24 parganas(S),West Bengal visited 1st time in NIH Organon Dept. OPD on 19/11/2019.

• Present complaints are Ulcer in mouth , beside the gum of lower teeth from last 2 months, ulcers are deep reddish brown in colour , with offensive foul breath. Aggravation  by eating warm food and spicy food and ameleorated by drinking cold water, holding cold things in mouth.

 

• Physical Generals are App: Good,

Desire: Fish, spicy food, phuchka, vagetables.

Aversion: Mutton, milk , ghee.

Intolarance:Mutton ,causes nausea.

Thirst:        Profuse, 4½ liter /day.

Tongue:     Pale, dry , slightly coated.

Stool:           Irregular, not clear, loose stool, several times passes stool accidentally      while urinating. 

Urine :       Clear, slight yellowish in colour ,occasionally offensive.

Sleep:        Good.

Dreams :     Of daily activities

Thermal relation: Ambithermic.

Sweat: Moderate, more in face region.

• Mental generals are Patient is very irritable, Angers at the slightest cause.

can not sit properly in one space, very restless in all her work, Easily fatigues, wants to lie down. Prefers not to share her worries with others, Consolation aggravation, desire to be alone.

 

• Patient was prescribed MURIATICUM ACIDUM 30, 3 doses, in 3 days in saclac in empty stomach early in the morning on 19/11/2019.

 

• On 24/12/2019 Patient is better than before, Ulcers are slightly reduced than before, Redness slightly reduced, Patient now can tolerate warm and spicy food to some extent, Burning persists. Medicine prescribed MURIATICUM ACIDUM 200, 1 dose in saclac, in empty stomach at early morning.
• On 28/01/2020 Patient better than before, ulcers slightly reduced in size,

 redness reduced. Burning sensation still persists while eating hot and spicy           food, but   better than before,ulcers reduced but often reappeared.

Medicine prescribed: MURIATICUM ACIDUM 1M, 1 dose in saclac, in empty stomach , early in the morning.

On 26/02/2020 Patient is better, No burning, No redness,Ulcers reduced, No redness,prescribed Placebo.
