National Institute of Siddha organized National Nutritional Programme (Poshan Pakhwada 2022) under the guidance of the Ministry of AYUSH from 21.03-2022 to 04.04.2022.

Prof. Dr. R .Meena Kumari, Director, National Institute of Siddha, delivered a speech about the necessity of nutritional value of traditional foods in modern life style for maintaining good health.

Competitions for children, adolescents, and moms were conducted as part of this initiative. 

On the topic of "Food and Nutrition," a quiz competition for children and adolescents was held, 

Cookery competition for women was also conducted in grand manner on the topic of "Traditional cuisines." this cookery competition drew a higher level of participation from the general public.

A noteworthy aspect of the occasion was the distribution of "TRADITIONAL FOOD KIT" to children and adolescents in the Ayothidoss Pandithar Hospital's OPD and IPD. Dean, Hospital Superintendent, professors, and faculties from all departments, participated and added to the significance of the ceremony. All greeted the participants and handed prizes at the end of the ceremony.
